The Standing of This Content
What is published at cmmcalibrationmilwaukee.com is descriptive material of a general kind. Its purpose is to help a requester understand what can be arranged and what a request should contain — and its limits are worth stating: it is not a technical specification, an engineering opinion, or a certificate of any kind.

Uncertainty and Statements of Conformity
Measurement results carry uncertainty, without exception. The result is meaningful only when it is read with three things:
- the measurement uncertainty stated on the certificate
- the conditions under which the measurement was made
- the method used
Statements of conformity record a pass or a fail against a tolerance, and rest on a decision rule agreed before the work is performed. Nothing published on this website states or implies a decision rule, an uncertainty figure, or a conformity outcome for any item.
Reporting of Results
Results are reported only on the certificate or report issued by the laboratory that performed the work, in the form in which it is issued. No page of this website, and no email or verbal statement made while arranging work, is a certificate of calibration, a report of results, or an amendment to either. The certificate is valid as a complete document and should be read as one.
Scope of Accreditation
Work described here is performed under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Any reference to accreditation is a reference to the accreditation held by the laboratory performing the work, and that accreditation extends only to the measurements listed in the laboratory's published scope. Anything outside that published scope is performed and reported as non-accredited work, and is identified as such on the certificate.
